Kanga-Route
Conservative email verification, in infrastructure you control.
Kanga-Route is a self-hosted email-verification appliance. It combines syntax, disposable-domain, DNS/MX, and cautious SMTP checks without sending email message bodies. Standalone verification does not require a CRM account, and HubSpot is the first reference integration rather than a limit on the engine.

Kanga-Route keeps verification behavior independent from the products and services that call it.
Conservative by design
Temporary or ambiguous conditions stay Unknown. Kanga-Route marks an address Invalid only on a definite signal: a syntax failure, a disposable domain, no mail service for the domain, or an explicit recipient rejection.
Multiple ways to use it
Use the same product-neutral verification engine from a browser console, versioned HTTP API, CLI, batch integration, or optional mail-server advice service.
Self-hosted where it fits
Run it with Docker Compose from a reviewed checkout on a Linux host. An AWS appliance image is in candidate status, and portable virtual-machine formats are planned.
MIT licensed and developed in public
Kanga-Route is available under the MIT License. Its source, documentation, issue tracker, and contributor roadmap are public in the project’s GitHub repository. Users can inspect it, adapt it, and run it in infrastructure they control under the terms of that license.
